Boy band god issues warning about resale of tickets for soldout concerts
Boy band god issued a warning about the resale of its concert tickets, through the concert’s organizer IOK Company Tuesday.
“We will take actions against the illegal resale of concert tickets,” the company said in a statement. “The ‘2022 god Concert ‘On’’ is a precious event for fans, and we will protect their rights.”
“If we have detected circumstantial suspicions that one has used abnormal or illegal means to book tickets, or has traded tickets through a reselling website or personal social media, we will cancel the reservation for said seat without a notice in advance,” the agency continued. “For illegal trading, we will also take legal actions separately.”
“If you have discovered specific circumstances that suggest illegal ticket trading, please inform us,” added the agency. “We will do our best to eradicate illegal ticketing in order to create a healthy live performance culture.”
“2022 god Concert ‘On’” is the group’s first concert as a complete group in four years, and was sold out shortly after the tickets went on sale. The concerts will take place from Dec. 9 to 11 at the KSPO Dome in southern Seoul’s Olympic Park before the tour heads to Bexco in Busan for runs on Dec. 24 and 25.
Considered one of the first-generation boy bands in K-pop, god debuted in 1999 and consists of members Park Joon-hyung, Yoon Kye-sang, Danny Ahn, Son Ho-young, Kim Tae-woo.
