Girl group Kep1er to come out with third EP ‘Troubleshooter’
Girl group Kep1er will make a speedy return with its third EP “Troubleshooter,” four months after its last EP “Doublast.”
Kep1er revealed a teaser image for its upcoming EP “Troubleshooter” midnight on Monday via its official social media accounts. The retro-style teaser features computer monitors that show the words “Troubleshooter” and “2022.10.13 thu 6pm kst,” announcing that the girl group will drop its new EP on Oct. 13 at 6 p.m.
Formed through Mnet’s multinational idol audition show “Girls Planet 999,” Kep1er has been seeing success since debuting in January with its first EP “First Impact” and lead track “Wa Da Da.” It consists of nine members: Yujin, Chaehyun, Dayeon, Youngeun and Yeseo who are Korean, Xiaoting who is Chinese, Mashiro and Hikaru who are Japanese and Huening Bahiyyih who is Korean-American.
Earlier this month, Kep1er released its first Japanese album “Fly-Up” and its lead track “Wing Wing,” which topped the Oricon Daily Singles rankings.
The girl group will host its first fan meet-and-greet session “2022 Kep1er Fan Meeting 〈Kep1anet〉” on Oct. 10 at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in southern Seoul.
