Korea records 52,987 new Covid-19 cases Friday

Korea recorded 52,987 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, down by more than 700 from the same day a week earlier, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
The number of critically ill patients remained around the 400-level with 460. There were 53 deaths.
The accumulative total of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Korea stands at 27,208,800.
