Korea records 8,981 new Covid-19 cases on Monday

There were 8,981 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 on Monday, marking the first time in 14 weeks the number has fallen below 10,000, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
 
The number of critically ill patients was 311, and there were 23 deaths.
 
The accumulative total of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Korea stands at 24,979,770.
