Le Sserafim releases song teaser clips of upcoming EP ‘Antifragile’ on TikTok
Snippets of girl group Le Sserafim’s new tracks were released on TikTok, according to Source Music on Monday.
Highlights of the five songs on Le Sserafim’s upcoming second EP “Antifragile” — title track “Antifragile,” “The Hydra,” “Impurities,” “No Celestial” and “Good Parts (when the quality is bad but I am)” — are now available to view on the short-video sharing platform. The EP is set to drop on Oct. 17.
TikTok users can use the tracks’ clips to create more short videos.
“We wanted to promote Le Sserafim’s new music to more people before its official release,” Source Music said, “and also give them the experience of consuming a song in many diverse ways.”
Le Sserafim previously saw success on TikTok with its debut title song “Fearless” and B-side track “Sour Grape,” through the form of short dance cover challenges.
“Antifragile” will be released on Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. Le Sserafim will premiere the stage performance of its new tracks via Mnet and M2’s “Le Sserafim Comeback Show : Antifragile” at 7 p.m. the same day.
Le Sserafim is an anagram of the phrase “I’m Fearless” and consists of five members: Miyawaki Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Hong Eun-chae, Kazuha and Huh Yun-jin. Sakura and Kim Chae-won are known for being former members of girl group IZ*ONE, a project girl group formed by the 12 finalists of Mnet’s hit idol audition program “Produce 48” (2018). Huh was also a contestant on “Produce 48.” Former member Kim Ga-ram left the group in July following allegations of bullying.
