Fans gather at Wonju Gymnasium in Wonju, Gangwon on Saturday night for the annual New Year’s basketball game. The late-night game begins at 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, inviting basketball fans to ring in the New Year from the bleachers. The game, which has always been a popular fixture on the KBL calendar, was canceled for the last two years due to Covid-19. This year the Wonju DB Promy beat the Jeonju KGC Egis 102-90 for the win.
