Singer BoA to release third EP ‘Forgive Me’ on Nov. 22
Singer BoA will release her third EP “Forgive Me” on Nov. 22, according to SM Entertainment on Tuesday.
BoA also revealed a teaser image for her upcoming EP through her official social media the same day.
This is her first music in two years since her 20th anniversary album “Better.” During her break from solo music, she has been active on the small screen, serving as a judge on the Mnet dance competition show “Street Man Fighter” (2022) and participating in SM Entertainment’s female supergroup GOT the beat. Dubbed the “female avengers of K-pop,” GOT the beat released its digital single “Step Back” and saw success on the charts.
The new EP will consist of six tracks. Information about the lead track and release dates will also be announced soon, while pre-orders are available from Tuesday at CD stores and their websites.
BoA, whose real name is Kwon Bo-ah, debuted in Korea in 2000 and is one of longest-running artists in K-pop.
She was also one of the first Korean artists to see success in the Japanese market and other countries. She made her Japanese debut in 2001 with the single “ID;Peace B,” and two of her Japanese albums became million-sellers. She had a successful career as a solo singer in both Korea and Japan, releasing hits such as “Atlantis Princess” (2003), “Girls On Top” (2005), “Hurricane Venus” (2010) and “Only One” (2012).
