Telecom investigation
A cellphone retailer is pictured in Seoul on Monday. The Fair Trade Commission began its investigation into three telecommunication companies — SK Telecom, LG U+ and KT — and commercial banks Shinhan, KB Kookmin, Hana, Woori, Industrial Bank of Korea and NH Nonghyup to look for any recent illegal trading under instruction by President Yoon Suk Yeol to reduce the damage of a monopoly in telecommunication and financial firms.
