Three injured after fire breaks out at building in Jongno District

A fire broke at a building in Jongno District, central Seoul at 7:06 a.m. Friday. Fire fighters are working to get the fire under control. [NEWS1]

 
A fire broke at a building in Jongno District, central Seoul on Friday, with at least three people reported injured due to smoke inhalation.
 
According to the local fire agency Friday, the fire broke at around 7:06 a.m. at a multi-purpose building with commercial space on the lower floors and residential units in the rest of the building.  
 
At least three people were hospitalized. 
 
Some roads around Jonggak Station have been closed while fire fighting efforts continue.  

 
An investigation into the cause of the fire will begin once it has been completely extinguished.
