Two members of Le Sserafim left with minor injuries after car accident
Two members of the girl group Le Sserafim — Kim Chae-won and Huh Yun-jin — are recovering after a car accident.
“The two members were involved in a minor car accident,” said the group’s agency Source Music on Wednesday.
“Luckily, the members and the staff in the car were not severely injured and were immediately sent to the hospital.”
The agency added the two members, Kim and Huh, were advised to receive treatment for mild muscle pain and bruises.
Due to the accident, the agency said the group’s upcoming schedules will be rescheduled. The group’s appearance on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on Thursday and KBS’s “Music Bank” on Friday will be canceled. Fan sign events that were to be held on Friday and Saturday will be rescheduled.
“We will put our artist’s health as the top priority and schedule future activities so that the two members can recover and meet fans as soon as possible ” the agency added.
Le Sserafim released its new EP “Antifragile” on Monday.
Le Sserafim is an anagram of the phrase “I’m Fearless” and consists of five members: Miyawaki Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Hong Eun-chae, Kazuha and Huh Yun-jin. Sakura and Kim Chae-won are known as former members of girl group IZ*ONE, a project girl group formed by the 12 finalists of Mnet’s hit idol audition program “Produce 48” (2018). Huh was also a contestant on “Produce 48.” Former member Kim Ga-ram left the group in July following allegations of bullying.
