‘Yeongdong-daero K-pop Concert’ to resume next month after two years
The “Yeongdong-daero K-pop Concert” will be held offline this year, after two years of being held online amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Gangnam District Office said Tuesday that the “Yeongdong-daero K-pop Concert” will be held on Oct. 2 and introduced the lineup of artists, which includes PSY, Chungha, The Boyz and Weekly. Tiffany from Girls’ Generation and Hyunjae from The Boyz will host the concert. The concert will also be streamed live at 7 p.m. on Oct. 2 and aired as a separate program on Oct. 8 on SBS.
Yeongdong-daero is a major thoroughfare in Gangnam District, southern Seoul. The district office has been organizing an annual Gangnam Festival since 2012 to promote Korean pop culture, and the K-pop festival in this thoroughfare has been the highlight of the annual festival.
Ticket reservations are free on a first come, first served basis and will start online at 10 a.m. on Sept. 27 through visitgangnam.net.
