NCT to release fourth full-length album ‘Golden Age’ in August
Twenty members under the NCT umbrella, from NCT 127, NCT Dream and WayV, will come together and release the band’s fourth full-length album on Aug. 28, the band’s agency SM Entertainment said Wednesday.
The album, titled “Golden Age,” will contain 10 tracks, each with a different vibe and different members from the NCT family, according to the agency.
NCT will also hold a concert titled “NCT Nation : To The World” on Aug. 26 at the Incheon Munhak Stadium before the album’s release. Preorders for the album began on Tuesday.
NCT is one of K-pop’s most unique boy bands, with 23 members and five subunits under its umbrella.
The NCT franchise debuted in April 2016 under SM Entertainment, starting with the EP “The 7th Sense / Without You” by NCT U, a five-member subunit with members Taeil, Taeyong, Doyoung, Ten, Jaehyun and Mark.
NCT’s fandom is dubbed NCTzen, a portmanteau of “NCT” and “citizen.” They are also affectionately called Czennie.
