Forestella is heading to Canada!
Korea’s leading K-crossover group Forestella has announced their upcoming Vancouver date. The four-member group, which comprises Doohoon Bae, Hyungho Kang, Mingyu Cho, and Woorim Go (husband of Olympic figure skater Yuna Kim), are scheduled to perform at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on January 26 at 7 pm.
Forestella’s Vancouver stop is one of the vocal quartet’s North American stops; they’re also set to perform in other cities including New York and Los Angeles.
They first made an appearance on JTBC’s Phantom Singer where they won in 2017. They gained popularity through shows like Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend and concerts where they showcase their innovative style, a unique combination of pop, classical music, and opera.
The group’s name is a combination of “forest” and the Italian word “stella”, which translates to stars. Their latest hit “Save Our Lives” is a single from their first mini album The Beginning: World Tree, which was released in May 2022. As national singers, Forestella continues to charm audiences with their impressive performances.
Tickets for their Vancouver show can be purchased in person from November 7. Tickets also go on sale online on Ticketmaster on November 17. Prices start at $79. A 5% early bird discount will be available for two weeks for tickets purchased at two Burnaby locations: Bluebird Travel Agency at 319-4501 North Road and Sebang Travel at 4501 North Rd #327c.
