C.at Work Global Trend Festa 2023 kicks off at DDP
ESteem Group Company, a subsidiary of SM Entertainment that’s best known as a model agency, is presenting the latest trends with a three-day festival at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in eastern Seoul.
The C.at Work Global Trend Festa 2023 kicked off this year for the first time and it includes a brand exhibition and several fashion shows.
ESteem said in a press release that it aims to “set new trends across fields including fashion, beauty and art.”
The exhibition offers media art and booths by local brands, including EENK, Jiyong Kim, Toilet Paper Beauty, Ardu and Huxley. A significant portion is dedicated to upcycling stage outfits previously worn by boy band NCT in which visitors can purchase an upcycled T-shirt or key ring of the garments.
On the runway are shows by fashion brands Hatu, Lecyto, Rrace, 51 Percent, D-Antidote, Lie Meque and Sun Woo, each featuring a celebrity like singer Jamie or dancer Gabee. Tickets for the fashion shows are already sold out.
The exhibition is free after making a reservation on the official website. It runs until Sunday.
